Sport enthusiast that rarely backs down from a challenge. Competed in Football, wrestling, and basketball while growing up. Played Rugby in college until injury turned me to endurance events. Accomplished multiple marathons including a couple 50k trail races. Also completed multiple triathlons up to a Half Ironman. I love using my fitness just to be outside and have a good time.

Qualifications

CrossFit Level 1 & 2 certification, Kids CrossFit Certification. Nutrition Coaching through Healthy Steps Nutrition.

About Coach

Grew up loving sports and being active, but was never a very healthy kid. Grew up over weight and struggled with my overall health until well after high school. It wasn’t until much later in life I spent countless hours dialing in my nutrition to see the changes I was looking for with the exercise that had always been present in my life.

Turning Point

I broke my left arm during a rugby scrimmage when I was 23 and gained extra weight after the injury. 3 months after the physical break causing a mental break that pushed me down the health rabbit hole. Many of my greatest athletic achievement came because of the greatest physical injury I have endured. There is always a way to progress and move forward in a healthy way.

Motivation & Passion

I learned how to best fuel myself and build my fitness through years or passionate failure! However, through this failure I was able to achieve incredible results and learn incredible ways to avoid and overcome many of the roadblocks and pitfalls that everyone run into. I always wanted to help people get to the point I am while avoiding the many mistakes I have made over the year and push to a healthier and happier you. As a soon to be father I also want to show them the path and not just tell them where to go. They motivate me to be the best me so they can watch and learn!
