Pure Pharma PP3: Now Available at KCF

You may have noticed a new item on the shelf in the Pro Shop. We are now offer Pure Pharma PP3. Pure Pharma is a company that manufactures and sells high quality supplements. Specifically, they specialize in Omega 3 fatty acids, Vitamin D and Magnesium.

While we have discussed the importance of Omega 3′s and Vitamin D many times before, Magnesium is one that is just popping up on our radars now. One of the big reasons that Magnesium is important is because it aids in the absorption of Vitamin D. So, if you are deficient in Magnesium and are supplementing your Vitamin D, you may not be getting the full benefit of the D. I just listened to an interesting podcast from Barbell Shrugged where a sleep specialist strongly recommended supplementing Magnesium to aid in Vitamin D absorption to further aid in your sleep quality.

The PP3 is a case of 30 individual packets which provide a convenient daily dose of Vitamin D, Magnesium and Omega 3. As someone who is known to be a bit spotty with my supplementation, I think this is something that will be really helpful for me. Also, since I travel frequently, this is a convenient way for me to make sure I have all my supplements with me.

The cost for this 30 day supply of supplements is $65 + tax.

  • Worked up to 305 x 6 on the back squats. Got 8:55 Rx on the METCON. Then had a solid OLY class. Worked up to 235# x 3 on Power Cleans, 235# x 3 on Power Jerk, 235# x 3 on OHS. Lastly, did “Isabel” (30 Snatches for time) in 3:55 Rx.

  • Worked up to 245×6 then I believe 13ish on the metcon. That’s 13 hours, not minutes. I’m actually typing this while I’m still running
