2011 Reebok CrossFit Games Open WOD 11.4
10 min AMRAP
60 Bar facing burpees
30 Overhead squats (120#/90#)
10 Muscle ups

Compare to 04/13/11 and post number of completed reps to comments.

Paleo Bites Sale & Throwdown

One last reminder: Today is our “My First Throwdown” event and a Paleo Bites Sale benefitting the Survive & Thrive Program.

The Throwdown will begin at noon. We expect there to be a rather big crowd, so I would recommend you show up a bit early if you want to find a good spot to view the action, carpooling is highly encouraged.

The Paleo Bites Sale will begin between 11:30 and noon. Again, if you want to get the good treats, be sure to show up a bit early. Bring a big wad of cash and give what you can to support a great cause. Also, don’t forget to bring some treats to put into the sale? Not sure what to make, here are some links to inspire you:

  • Hey!! When the next ‘Throwdown’…..I’m ready to roll, after getting my feet wet today. I had a spectacular time today. Kudos to all participants… what a showing of talent and effort. THE WOMEN WERE FANTASTIC and the guys were pretty darn good too. Thank you Amy, Dan, Chris, Brandi, Mindi and all the judges and the peeps who helped make this ‘T.D’a grand time…..a great job everyone!!

  • Im am sorry that I had to leave after the second event. I barely got out of work in time (hence the outfit) and I had to be home by 3. I was positive that I wouldnt even be able to compete today. But when I showed up at 12:05 Dan said it would be ok. I thought I might give it a go. I wish I could work out with a crowd every day. Absolute Blast!!!

  • Got through the 10 muscleups and back to the bar for 8 more burpees, but only did half the prescribed weight on the OHS. Best of luck to all the competitors, it’s gonna be a fun day!
