Test Positive For Awesome
On the heels of our discussion of performance enhancing drugs yesterday, let us tell you about a new product we are testing at the box. It’s called Kill Cliff. It is a recovery drink that is a blend of vitamins, herbs and enzymes aimed at facilitating recovery by minimizing inflammation. Each can has only 15 calories. Here’s a quote on how they developed the formula:
We started with an objective to create a drink that would speed recovery by reducing swelling and inflammation. As we began to develop the product, we compiled research on premium ingredients and their relationship to recovery, as well as studied research on endurance and recovery issues among athletes. We built lists of primary ingredients we wanted to include in the product as well as secondary ingredients that supported the main ingredients. Then, once we had clear direction as to where we wanted to take the product, we used a third-party team of scientists to combine the ingredients in an optimal formula. With all the potent nutrients we selected, it took about two years of trial and error to arrive at a product that was tasty, let alone palatable.
I have had this at the last couple of throwdowns I competed at. I’m not going to tell you it’s some sort of miracle elixir or that it’s even a necessary addition to your diet and training, but I did hit PRs after drinking it on both occasions. I’m not sayin’, I’m just sayin’. The flavor, officially, is “tasty”, says so on the can. It has a light orange flavor, not offensive or overly sweet in the least.
We are selling these for $3/can. No, it’s not a cheap drink, but then again, it’s not intended to be consumed the way many slam down soda or poor quality energy drinks. Come on in and give one a shot and let us know what you think. We genuinely want to know what you think of it and if you all give it a thumbs up then we’ll look at carrying it in the box.
Oh, I should also add, that after drinking this you will not test positive for anything except, AWESOMENESS!

6+16! First Rx ever!
My son, Anthony, and I are big fans of kill cliff. We love it before a workout and after! Just drinking coconut water now and it’s not the same for my recovery! I’ll be buying some from you for sure:) Not sure about the sweetener in it, but the benefits outweigh it for me.
