Isn’t All That Fat Gonna Make You Fat?

Is that what most people ask you when you tell them about your high fat diet? Mark’s Daily Apple recently did a post on common questions about a high fat diet and how to respond to people when they suggest you are clogging your arteries and getting fat on fat. He tackles these questions:

Isn’t all that fat gonna glom onto your arteries?
Isn’t all that cholesterol gonna raise your cholesterol?
Isn’t all that fat gonna make you fat?
But Dean Ornish/my mom/Walter Willet/the AHA/my doctor said saturated fat will give you heart attacks.
Where do you get your energy?
But isn’t fat totally free of nutrients? How do you get your vitamins if you’re eating all that fat?
Doesn’t the brain run on carbs, not fat?

Read the entire article here and see how you can respond when your family and friends tell you are crazy for eating the way you do.
