Our Work is Not Done Here
While it is true that the CrossFit movement is exploding and becoming more and more popular with everyday, we get nearly daily reminders that most of mainstream America still has no clue when it comes to fitness. Check out this video from yesterday’s 3rd hour of the Today show with Kathie Lee and Hoda. So, there’s one movement that sorta resembles something we do as CrossFitters, although the technique is atrocious. Every other “compound multi-joint movement” is a waste of time if the goal is fitness. I’m going to go out on a limb and say that most of America will NEVER get it. They will never be able to separate aesthetics from fitness. They will never understand that strong IS beautiful, especially when get constantly bombarded with this garbage.

Wow. Just wow. My co-worker and his whole family came over to my house for dinner last weekend. His 9 year old son deadlifted a 53lb kettlebell with perfect form. These people need to wake up.
