WOD: Rest Day
Adam hits his first WOD - FGB. This, just a few weeks after an appendectomy and just a day before flying out to donate bone marrow. That's the spirit Adam, proud to have you onboard.
The Open House/FGB/BBQ was a huge success. We had lots of new faces, and plenty of first time CrossFitters throwing down for Fight Gone Bad. Once again we spanned the generation gap with an age range from “early twenties” to “mid-sixties”. We also had some pretty impressive numbers coming out of these first timers. The BBQ afterward was fantastic, lots of great food and quality community bonding.
We would like to send out a big thank you to all who came out to the event today. We’re still very early in the game, but we can already see the makings of a very tight-knit fitness community forming, and that’s what it’s all about. We are poised to take this place by storm and it’s going to be a fun ride.

Adam – it was our pleasure having you there for FGB. You did very well by the way. When you’re ready you let us know and we will get you ready to crush people next year on the track.
Dan and Amy,
Thanks for the awesome workout. I was so jazzed to get the okay from my doctor the day prior. In my mind it felt like forever since I worked out last (and the workout made me feel like it had been forever). After I get back from the actual donation on the 20th, we’ll talk about me coming in regularly. You guys and everyone else was quite an inspiration for me.
